The Spanish National Research Council State Agency (CSIC) is the largest public research organisation in Spain, the fourth-largest public research institution in the European Union and the sixth in the world. It has more than 11,000 employees, of which almost 4,000 are research staff, distributed in its 121 research institutes throughout the Spanish territory. The Group that participate in this project (MAMBIO) belong to the Institute of Material Science of Madrid (ICMM-CSIC) that is located at the campus of the Autónoma University of Madrid (UAM). It is led by Prof. M.P. Morales who will be in charge of developing green synthesis routes of metal nanomaterials for conductive inks, the standardization and scale-up processes based on microwave assisted synthesis in polyol media.
