Last week we (Valerio Beni, Robert Brooke and Anurak Sawatdee from RISE) welcomed our collaborators Boris Forsthuber and Thaddäa Rath from Holzforschung Austria – Österreichische Gesellschaft für Holzforschung at the printed electronics arena of RISE Research Institutes of Sweden.
This collaborative effort is part of the Hypelignum project — and focused on pushing the boundaries, by the adoption of wood, of sustainable, high‑performance electronics. During the visit we worked on prototyping, via the use of additive processes, high complexity 4‑layer PCBs. It’s inspiring to see experts from different fields step into this environment, bring fresh perspectives, and help accelerate innovation.
Collaboration like this is exactly what drives new breakthroughs.
